We chose this particular route for lots of great reasons. Many riders from past BRANs enjoyed riding in the Sandhills, and we wanted to give them a chance to experience it once more. We’ve kept the length of each ride at a distance where riders can finish their ride and still have time to explore the towns along the way.

TRAN Across Nebraska

On June 5th, 2024 the TRAN riders will be traveling through Bassett on there way from Ainsworth to Atkinson.

The 2024 Tractor Relay Across Nebraska (TRAN) will be touring the northern part of Nebraska. Starting the first two days around Valentine, NE and ending the last day at Ashfall Fossil Beds. During the relay, we will be taking donations for American Legion programs Operation Comfort Warriors and Gifts for Yanks.

It’s our 36th year, and we want to spend it someplace fun and rider friendly! We were inspired by the beautiful Nebraska Sandhills and the Niobrara National Scenic River! This area is also a destination for outdoor activities with welcoming and charming hospitality and friendly locals! TDN features a "double" format with two nights in Valentine, which is hometown to our state suds partner, Bolo Brewing Co.

BASSETT WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

33rd Annual Women's Volleyball Tournament in Bassett. Open to any adult women who want to volleyball (must be out of high school to play). Pool Play Saturday and Tournament Sunday based off Saturday pool play. Some great volleyball and friendships made and fun times Friday night and Saturday night partying it up 🙂. Spread the word to anyone you thing would love to play!

4th Annual, St. Peter Lutheran Church Valentine's Day Chili & Cinnamon Roll Feed!

New cinnamon rolls this year in dozen and 1/2 dozens on pre-order only by Feb 9th. $8/half dozen or $15/dozen. Local home delivery for meals & roll orders also need to be placed by Feb 9th.

Lunch - 11am to 130pm

Dinner - 430pm to 7pm

Suggested donation of $10/quart & 2 cinnamon rolls.

We will have physical instruction for 1.5 hours, have a 15 minute break then close out our time with a discussion portion.
