Cultural activities include Bassett Arts Council and Kaleidoscope Gallery (#113), concerts, ballet, dances, square dancing, exhibits, and dinner theater. Bassett Arts Council, Kaleidoscope Gallery (#113) is located at 113 Clark Street.

| September 19, 2009 | Double D Wranglers, Bassett American Legion Club #123, 7:00 PM - this will be a fundraiser for the Bassett Arts Council. |
| October 10, 2009 | Trey Hensley, Bassett Livestock Auction, 7:00 PM. |
| November 24, 2009 | Ron Cole Entertainment, Rock County High School gym, 2:30 PM, this assembly will be open to the public. |
| March 15-19, 2010 | Artist in Residence, Rita Paskowitz, will combine her skills as a story teller, actress and writer into workshops that span the storytelling process, at the Bassett Grade School. |

Davis and Dow, award winning jazz duo, will perform at the Rock County High School gym, 7:00 PM. |
| April 29, 2010 | The Quebe Sisters Band will perform at the Rock County High School gym at 7:00 PM. They have performed for the Berkshire Hathaway stockholders at the Quest Center for many years. |
